    Summary:

    Our award-winning client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. We are actively seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in accounting, possesses a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, and demonstrates proficiency in computer usage with advanced knowledge of Excel and various accounting software programs. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, organization, and analytical skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • GAAP Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure strict adherence.
    • Overall Accounting Responsibility: Manage all accounting and finance operations, processes, and records for the consolidated organization, including overseeing accounting functions.
    • Financial Operations: Oversee General Ledger (G/L), month-end close/reporting assistance, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, audit support, and reports on managed equipment.
    • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Cash Management: Prepare Daily Cash Summary, Major Cash Requirement Report, and Cash Projections.
    • Audit Support: Prepare monthly financial preparation statements for audit and tax, assisting with PBC (Provided by Client).
    • Payments and Requests: Prepare ACH and wire Requests for Approval and document for payment.
    • Coordination with Outsourced Services: Coordinate with outsourced accounting services to ensure seamless collaboration.
    • Accrual Review: Conduct a quarterly review of G&A accruals to identify unrecorded liabilities.
    • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with government reporting requirements, provide support, and file federal and local taxes—support audits as necessary.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
    • Proficiency in computer usage, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with various accounting software programs.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
