    Summary:

    We are looking to hire a Director of Marketing who will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development, and execution of the organization's marketing and advertising initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Director of Marketing's primary responsibility is to support revenue generation through successful marketing activities for the entire organization, using market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising and public relations.

    As a senior-level marketing professional, this role must be both analytical and creative, and possess extensive knowledge in a variety of disciplines such as production, information technology, legal, regulatory, and finance. The Director of Marketing will plan, direct, and coordinate marketing budgets in accordance with organizational goals. This leader will also be responsible for the management and supervision of individual marketing team members' efforts in the execution and delivery of marketing objectives.

    Responsibilities


    • Maintaining changes to formulation and/or cost components that affect the selling price of manufactured goods to related companies.

    • Assisting Manufacturing personnel to develop standard costs.

    • Reconciliation and valuation of manufacturing inventory as well as finished goods inventory.

    • Maintaining the general ledger and preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements.

    • Analyzing manufacturing financial and operational results.

    • Working closely with our external accountants during their semi-annual visits.

    • Assisting with the development of the annual Budget.

    • Assisting the Sr. Manufacturing Cost Accountant with other projects on an as needed basis.

    • Support the implementation of the SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.

    • Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives.

    • Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment.

    Required Qualifications


    • 7+ years' of Digital Marketing experience

    • Experience with oversight of marketing strategies for products sold across multiple retail channels and e-commerce platforms

    • Development of marketing strategies for branded and private label products

    • Experience with products in a competitive consumables category highly preferred

    • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team

    • Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management

    • Strong leadership and project development skills

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Problem solving skills and strategic planning

    • Must have high level of digital marketing

    • Strong domestic and international experience

    • Superb analytical skills

    • Must be analytical and creative

    • Marketing of a comprehensive product portfolio at varying stages of its life cycle

    • Lead the transition of a product or category of products coming off patent or other IP expiration

    • Experience working with in-house creative teams and outside agencies to maximize investment

    • MBA or other relevant graduate degree highly preferred
