Summary

Provide excellent customer service to maintain great customer relations. Organize and perform all daily activities in Branch Operations to ensure all work are done and communicated in a timely manner. Be aware of any possible weak controls, risk of loss or non-compliance with regulations that could occur in customer transactions. Assist Branch Manager with supervision and training of branch personnel in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assure safety of the branch personnel and customers by maintaining proper security, crime prevention systems and housekeeping of the premises and operations equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Complete ownership of providing excellent customer service
• Prepares daily operational, proof and accounting reports and adjustments to maintain branch internal controls and loss mitigation and for transmission of reports to Central Operations
• Responsible for teller team responding to and resolving customers' inquiries, complaints and bookkeeping differences in a satisfactory and timely manner
• Approve checks and saving withdrawals beyond teller's cashing limits when necessary; authorizes general ledger entries and internal debits
• Responsible for monthly branch certifications and BSA reporting
• Handle dormant accounts, levies and garnishments and any legal processes
• Maintain branch postings, notices, Public Records and files and in proper order and in compliance with regulations
• Assist in training of new teller personnel
• Assists in planning work schedules of teller staff to ensure excellent customer service
• Attend operations seminars to become aware of new regulations and new changes
• Follow security procedures and maintain proper operations of security equipment

Required Skills and Experience:

• 1+ years’ experience as banking teller
• Experience opening new accounts process required
• Bi-lingual Chinese (Mandarin) / English highly preferred
• Experience with Fiserv’s teller system preferred
