    Summary:

    Our award-winning client is currently hiring for a Sales Manager to work at their Arkansas location! As the Sales Manager, you will research, plan, manage and execute increased sales through the U.S. region to meet or exceed business goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • You will research, design, plan, manage and execute sales plans to identify and add customers, while also increasing sales within the region.

    • You will schedule initial meetings to provide targeted presentations and information with a Technical Salesperson to understand needs and provide solutions.

    • You will partner with the Marketing Manager to create effective Marketing and Sales initiatives that will discern their products in the marketplace, strengthen their brand, and ultimately increase sales.

    • You will research the market, identify trade shows to reach prospects, and implement a marketing plan to attract and onboard new clients.

    • You will attend industry events to network with others and to initiate new opportunities.

    • You will utilize the CRM system to enter/analyze data and create a priority plan that will enhance the sales funnel.

    • You will be responsible for preparing a detailed annual budget, broken down by month, and manage your department within the constraints of the budget.

    • You will be required to do comprehensive market and competitor research and document comprehensively, using the intelligence gained to collaborate with marketing to improve the effectiveness of their sales and marketing strategy

    • You will potentially manage junior sales associates in your team as they are added in the future.

    • You will be responsible to collaborate with their sister companies within the group to design and implement joint sales strategies.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial, or other similar field preferred; would consider combination coursework and experience

    • Experience: 5+ years of Sales experience in the agriculture, food, meat or poultry processing industry preferred with a solid software/technical system aptitude; will consider similar industries for the right person

    • Functional Skills: Excellent B2B Consultative Sales expertise with strong planning, organizing, and creating solutions. Foundational marketing skills would also be helpful in this role. The ability to under-standard budgeting and forecasting plans is preferred.

    • Leadership/Behaviors: Self-motivated, self-starters who have a background of managing their work/results on their own; requires excellent collaboration and networking skills as well.
