Summary:
We are seeking a CFO with a background in Agribusiness for our award winning client seeks a CFO to oversee the United States region and report directly to the Group CFO and functionally to the Business Unit Director. The CFO will be in charge of the financial and controlling function within the company's businesses in the USA.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare consolidated financial statements (monthly closing) Statutory & Analytical – ensuring reliable and timely closing
- Consolidation of the US subsidiaries and integration with the rest of the Group
- Follow up of main operational and financial indicators (including P&L, inventory and Capex)
- Prepare annual budget (P&L and Capex) and monthly updates
- P&L analysis:
- Profitability analysis of the crop
- Deviation vs budget and previous year
- Costs breakdown analysis and variation
- Specific reports regarding the business
- Managing the Annual Audits (external and internal)
- Different Gaaps conciliation
- ERP migration from current one to corporate ERP
- Assessing local financially the decisions to be taken and risk management (e.g. returns, finance efficiency, profitability and costs reduction)
- Ensuring performance metrics monthly closing and consolidation and reporting to CFO and BU Director
- Lead and/or participate actively in cross projects with other functions to deliver financial and strategic bets
- Driving financial performance and P&L success in the Country
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2-3 years experience as a senior controller, CFO or similar
- 5+ years of Agribusiness experience
- Cost Accounting experience
- Strong audit experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance
- Master's degree will be a plus
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (ie. EXCEL)
- Used to work in ERP environment (JD Edwards knowledge is a plus)
- International exposure: desirable
- Consolidation experience required
- ERP Migration: desirable
