Summary:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong background in Mortgage operations and Mortgage industry software such as LOS applications, Encompass 360 (or similar) being most ideal, to be a Project Manager.

Under the direction of the VP of Consumer Direct Process and Change Management, this position will provide support and project coordination to the Operational Excellence division.

The individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in a variety of situations, possess strong written/verbal communication skills, organized and he/she will have the ability to work independently on projects, from inception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Responsibilities:

• Write functional specifications, change requests, test plans, and training documentation
• Design and implement solutions by creating new workflows, input forms, pipeline views, dashboards, reports, and print forms
• Maintains a consistent and constant flow of communication with team members and managers; is able to articulate thoughts crisply but with the appropriate level of detail and accuracy depending on audience
• Perform QA testing and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Convert large epics or user stories into smaller, detailed user stories that developers, user experience, and quality assurance resources can digest
• Troubleshoot support tickets and make recommendations on system changes and optimizations
• Assist in managing key reports, as well as dashboards for senior management to help execute business plan
• Prioritize conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience with LOS such as Encompass 360 or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in the mortgage industry including the life cycle of a loan
• Strong Mortgage Operations experience
• Project Manager experience
• People management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or an engineering discipline required
• Ability to analyze and clearly communicate business requirements as a key input to the product development process
• Proven ability to lead projects and initiatives and achieving planned results
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, quality assurance, support, marketing and sales
