Summary:
Our award winning client is currently hiring for a business mindset Project Manager. They are Seeking a strong 10-15 year experienced civil Project Manager. This individual would need to have ambitions beyond just project management and would strive to take it to the next level and become a part of our current branch management team within that 3-5 year time frame.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement and scheduling.
- Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors.
- Possess through knowledge of company’s contract and understanding of all parties involved.
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings required to successfully coordinate work activity.
- Supervise and manage project team members.
- Analyze daily and weekly project cost and activity to manage project budgets & schedule.
- Possess a thorough understanding of all major project issues and priorities.
- Provided general administrative and technical leadership for the project.
- Maintain all project closeout activities.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner and engineering firms.
- Participate in proposals and presentations as requested.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience as a civil Project Manager
- Degree required in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Need to have all of his/her experience in the heavy/civil world and have some exposure to private/commercial civil work, as well as public/DOT civil work.
- Experience in grading, utilities, and paving is essential.
- Civil experience is MUST.
