Summary:

Our award winning client is hiring for a Financial Manager to work in their Buffalo, NY location.

Responsibilities:

• Management of day-to-day operations of the finance department
• Analysis of financial results and identification of potential improvements
• Preparation and review of financial data that is prepared for management.
• Supervision of staff on projects.
• Improve accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
• Month end and financial statement preparation
• Work with Controller and VP of Finance on SOX compliance

Required Skills and Experience:

• 6+ years of experience.
• Manufacturing and/or distribution experience is preferred but not required
• Accounting Degree, CPA a must, MBA a plus.
• FP&A, investment banking, business administration, or management consulting experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent ability to problem solve along with solid analytical skills, understanding of business process and systems optimization.
• Comfortable interacting with all levels of management in multiple areas.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
• Ability to review data and make relevant management decisions.
• Strong financial system and business administration understanding.
