SUMMARY

Our fast-growing IoT Solutions division is seeking an SQA ENGINEER. The IoT Solutions division leads the ioXt security platform, which brings carrier-grade security to the unlicensed home, enterprise, and industrial markets. The Internet of Secure Things, ioXt, provides communications modules, libraries, frameworks and cloud services for securing IoT devices end-to-end from device to cloud.

The SQA Engineer will help define the end-to-end testing requirements and automated testing implementations. They must be able to translate product and technology requirements into testing specifications. The SQA Engineer must be able to define and create regression testing specifications and implement automated testing scripts, tools, and fixtures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translate product and technology requirements into test specifications
• Develop and implement specific plans for regression, functional and fault injection testing
• Enter and track issues in Jira and integrate with the software release process
• Create frameworks and implement automated testing

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field required.
• Must work on-site.
• A minimum of five (5) or more years of industry experience required.
• Ability to create test plans for cloud and device-level API interfaces over IP communications.
• Ability to create automated test environments.
• Skilled in scripting languages.
• Ability to create estimates on test coverage.
• Familiarity with Design for Testability.
• Experience in IoT/Embedded/M2M industries such as home automation, building automation, medical devices, smart utilities, or asset tracking is a plus.
• Prior experience as a software developer is a plus.
• Prior experience in DevOps or deployment procedures is a plus.
