    Seeking a Business Development Manager for architectural products, signage, and interior design planning opportunity --looking for a Sales Professional with 1+ years of selling in the Manhattan B2B sales environment.     JOB DESCRIPTION

    This position is required to prospect directly to regional and national retailers with multi-location stores, and to the Manhattan and East Coast Architectural and Design community. This job is for experienced B2B sales professionals. If you have not sold B2B in Manhattan within the last 6 months, please do not apply to this role.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Build a book of business with A&D partners from design firms throughout Manhattan and the East Coast.
    • Prospect through cold calling, LinkedIn, Email, and specified marketing campaigns to regional and national retailers.
    • Prep quotes and orders
    • Specify product and review plans with design
    • Required to understand the customer needs and appropriate solutions
    • Attending client presentations

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 1+ years B2B sales experience in Manhattan
    • Tangible product sales experience (B2B), or similar (Real Estate, Architects, Manufacturing)
    • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills
    • Strong In-person networking skills
    • Great Inside sales/cold calling skills
    • Excellent communication skills over the phone, in person and in writing
    • Good decision-making ability, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Highly motivated, self-starter with a can-do attitude
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel
    • Must have very strong computer research skills (google, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Must know how to work a CRM with speed and accuracy
