    Summary:

    We are seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager for an organization that was chartered to create a suite of solutions that serve hospital executives and their key business challenges. The solution sets will assist healthcare providers improve revenue cycle, operations,, physician integration, information technology enablement and regulatory and reimbursement processes.     Manage revenue cycle transformation projects, business process redesign, system enhancements or implementation, staff development and cash acceleration engagements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations and communicate engagement priorities.
    • Work closely with senior management to develop an appropriate work plan to meet client needs.
    • Responsible for day-to-day revenue cycle work plan and engagement delivery in accordance with expectations.
    • Track engagement progress to work plan on a routine basis.
    • Consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations on business and process improvement.
    • Serve as a trusted business adviser to client.
    • Assist in building and implementing programs to improve revenue cycle solution sets.
    • Develop project vision and set challenging personal and client service team goals.
    • Think strategically about project enhancements and be able to embrace and manage change.
    • Assist in developing drafts of client worthy materials (e.g. deliverables, memorandums, project plans, etc.).
    • Participate and learn all aspects of business development.
    • Assist in all aspects of proposals, including writing.
    • Utilize multiple tools to manipulate, cleans, and interpret data (e.g. MicroSoft Access).
    • Perform other job-related duties as necessary.
    • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of revenue cycle experience within a hospital
    • Progressive advisory or consulting experience

    • In-depth knowledge of the revenue cycle process from pre-registration through account resolution

    • Experience in managing revenue cycle transformation projects, business process redesign, system enhancements or implementation, staff development and cash acceleration engagements.

    • Sharp analytic skills essential to improve revenue cycle management and develop a return on investment for potential clients

    • Ability to work independently; excellent follow-through, multitasking and client-facing skills

    • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form: interact positively and constructively with staff, clients, community and representatives

    • Self-motivated with a positive and exceptional work ethic and attention to detail

    • Ability to educate and train other staff members, and implement project plans within scheduled timelines

    • BS degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Accounting or related field
