SUMMARY
Our fast growing IoT Solutions division is seeking a SENIOR SECURITY ENGINEER. The IoT Solutions division leads the ioXt security platform, which brings carrier-grade security to the unlicensed home, enterprise, and industrial markets. The Internet of Secure Things, ioXt, provides communications modules, libraries, frameworks and cloud services for securing IoT devices end-to-end from device to cloud.
The Senior Security Engineer will help define the end-to-end requirements and technical implementation. They must be able to translate product requirements to testable engineering specifications. The Senior Security Engineer must be able to document, code, debug and test real-time, embedded ‘C’ code.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate product requirements into testable engineering specifications.
- Document, code, debug and test real-time, embedded ‘C’ code.
- Specify and code secure software updates, key exchange, secure communications channels and secure storage methods.
- Help mentor and guide junior engineers on the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Must work on site.
- A minimum of ten (10) or more years of industry experience required.
- Experience in IoT/Embedded/M2M industries such as home automation, building automation, medical devices, smart utilities, or asset tracking.
- Strong background in secure communications systems and protocols.
- Experience in translating product/customer requirements to engineering technical requirements.
- Strong embedded coding experience with ‘C’ on RTOS for SOCs.
- Comfortable with Agile software development processes.
- Experience with PKI and certificate signing mechanism.
- Working knowledge of security and privacy standards.
- Experience with white box, black box, vulnerability testing or threat analysis is a plus.
- Hardware and/or RF experience preferred.
- Experience with MQTT, CoAP, Zigbee, Thread, OCF, 6LoWPAN, NB-IoT, and/or LoRAWAN preferred.
