We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Benefits Manager to join our team and take a lead role in overseeing and managing our company's employee benefits programs. In this dynamic role, you will be actively involved in the day-to-day administration and operations of various benefit plans, wellness programs, and our 401(k) plan. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining our comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage a range of benefit plans, wellness initiatives, and 401(k) plans to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
Conduct periodic reviews and audits of benefit plans to optimize value and identify cost-saving opportunities. Stay abreast of benefit trends to ensure our plans remain competitive and up to date.
Work closely with system providers, brokers, and vendors to ensure smooth coordination and optimal service delivery. Act as a liaison between employees, HR, and third-party vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues.
Take a hands-on approach to day-to-day benefit administration, leading a team of professionals to deliver efficient and accurate services.
Develop all benefits communications, ensuring clarity and accessibility for employees. Address and resolve issues related to benefit programs raised by employees, HR, and external vendors.
Project plan and manage benefits team projects, ensuring successful rollout and implementation of initiatives.
Review and monitor data integration reports, identifying and addressing inaccuracies and system errors. Take proactive measures to maintain data accuracy.
Understand, interpret, and effectively communicate benefit plan provisions, policies, programs, processes, and practices, serving as the escalation point for complex issues.
Required Qualifications:
10 years of experience in a benefits role is required.
A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
1+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience required.
Strong business judgment in assessing requirements and performance to identify appropriate solutions.
Analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Excel.
Attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing tasks and priorities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
