    Summary:

    The Business Development Director will draw on firsthand knowledge of market-leading enterprise customers and ecosystems to secure anchor customers, propel pipeline development, and quickly grow revenues from scratch to volume and scale. Compensation is structured with significant variables upside aligned with this focus. Candidates should have deep knowledge of data center and edge computing markets, as well as experience and skills in developing initial pipelines for early-stage pioneering companies while managing business development and sales processes and global teams in support of that goal.

    This role is a great opportunity to join a pioneering AI company at the initial commercialization stage and play a formative role in adoption of AI solutions driving the future of AI, a multi-billion-dollar market opportunity. This is a key position responsible for driving business development of transformative AI compute solutions for enterprise data center markets, and strategic market development for future products.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build a robust opportunity pipeline and establish long-term business relationships with partners and customers with strategic relevance to the future product roadmap

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable customer success for optimal time to revenue

    • Manage customer expectations for high level of customer satisfaction

    • Partner with global teams to drive demand and create and grow opportunities and accounts

    • Expand and leverage customer ecosystem relationships in the data center and edge computing markets

    • Build effective customer relationships with independent Software ISPs and Systems Integrators

    • Enhance customer relationships within the 5G ecosystem

    • Establish process to drive effective joint business planning and execution with partners

    • Formulate plans for metrics and effective systems to establish business development goals

    • Manage monthly forecasting, sales opportunities and account business plans

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of business development and sales experience in technology

    • Master’s degree or MBA is a plus

    • Experienced global leader and motivator of business development and sales teams

    • Enterprise-level experience selling into the AI ecosystem

    • Hands-on experience selling current leading legacy AI silicon and systems into the AI ecosystem

    • Deep experience and strong ecosystem network in Data Center and Data Center Edge markets

    • Strong experience and knowledge of use cases in data center and data center edge markets

    • Technical foundation and strong business knowledge of AI industry with skills to provide value-add in solving partner and customer challenges
