Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking a Accounting Analyst to join their team.In this critical role, you will play a key role in supporting our sales team by providing accurate and timely financial data and analysis. Your responsibilities will span customer rebates, sales budgets, and various reporting functions.
Responsibilities:
Manage customer rebate (TPA) programs, including forecasting, accruals, and payment processing.
Analyze customer contracts and prepare account adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Track and manage customer deductions, working with sales to resolve discrepancies.
Prepare insightful reports on customer program incentives, sales budgets, and display budgets.
Reconcile monthly sales department budgets and identify variances.
Leverage technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency for the sales organization.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales, finance, and purchasing departments.
Assist with ad-hoc projects to support sales initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Accounting preferred) with 5+ years of experience in sales accounting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent mathematical ability and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Access and PowerPoint.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task effectively.
