    Summary:

    We are seeking a Sales Manager with a strong Industrial Chemicals background to work with executive management on industrial sales and product strategies, planning, pricing, market penetration, and tactics. This position will lead and drive the Sales Specialists, experience with that is required.

    For more than fifty years, our client has been an industry-leading producer and distributor of high-quality water treatment products. Serving a diverse set of customers from recreational, industrial and municipal end markets their products are manufactured in-house and are delivered directly to the customer through their dedicated, company-owned vehicle fleet. With a continued focus on growth into industrial applications, they are seeking to hire a bright-minded, professional Sales Manager to lead this growth in their North American markets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Execute the plan and drive sales to exceed budget, volume, sales revenue, and profitability
    • Manage industrial sales, and department organizational and development activities across all geographies (currently includes PacNW, CA, AZ, UT, TX).
    • Provide leadership at key corporate accounts and work with the sales team on account planning and execution to satisfy customer requirements and deliver the commercial strategy.
    • Day-to-day management of the sales team to include setting targets, goals and job performance.
    • Work with operations teams to develop durable solutions that match customer needs with operating, distribution and production capabilities.
    • Grow the industrial business by maximizing and expanding on existing customer portfolio, refining and delivering on the value propositions and aligning sales and marketing efforts to support efforts beyond routine ongoing field selling.

     

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • 10+ years of Industrial Chemical sales experience
    • 5+ years of Sales Management experience
    • Commercial Data Management and Interpretation
    • Distribution logistics experience in the Chemical industry
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Ability to strategize with executive management, and successfully implement with the sales team
    • Well versed in MS Office (MS Access a plus)
    • Bachelor's Degree
