    Summary:

    Our award-winning client is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for a fast-growing company that is adding new customers at a rapid rate in the New Braunfels / Seguin, TX area! This Engineer will be responsible for designing custom generator enclosures, power distribution centers, and fuel tanks to meet the unique needs of our clients. The ideal candidate should have ten years of experience in engineering, with a strong background in electrical design and systems. Join our team as an Engineering Designer and play a pivotal role in crafting custom-built generator enclosures, power distribution centers, and fuel tanks.


    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with clients: Partner with clients to understand their unique requirements and translate them into exceptional, tailor-made solutions.

    • Mastermind electrical design: Develop efficient and compliant electrical systems for power distribution within enclosures, adhering to industry standards.

    • Engineer resilient structures: Design enclosures and tanks with meticulous attention to load-bearing capacity, durability, and safety.

    • Select the perfect materials: Choose the ideal materials for each project, considering environmental factors and client specifications.

    • Cost with precision: Prepare accurate cost estimates encompassing materials, labor, and equipment for proposed designs.

    • Manage projects seamlessly: Oversee the engineering phase, ensuring designs are executed flawlessly and within budget.

    • Guarantee quality: Implement stringent quality control measures to deliver products that meet our unwavering standards for performance and reliability.

    • Document for success: Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation to guide manufacturing and construction teams.

    • Stay compliant: Keep abreast of industry regulations and codes, ensuring designs meet safety and environmental requirements.

    Required Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

    • At least 10 years of engineering experience, preferably in the power generation industry.

    • A strong foundation in electrical design and systems.

    • Proficiency in computer-aided design (AUTOCAD) software.

    • Knowledge of structural analysis and materials selection.

    • Project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines effectively.

    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

    • A keen eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving.
