    Summary:

    Our award-winning client is a well-known world-class supplier partner that specializes in manufacturing safety and performance systems for the automotive industry, is searching for an Assistant General Manager of Sales. This position is based in Windsor, ON.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Actively develop, plan, and implement a sales strategy to target new business opportunities, leads, and prospective customers.

    • Work closely with engineering and estimating teams to provide potential and current customers with proposals, specifications, concepts, quotes, and feedback Find and create key customer contacts in the industry

    • Lead and foster relationships for continued growth

    • Work alongside sales associates from other divisions of the organization; create reports, participate in strategy sessions focused on sales, business development, and growth

    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the sales team; identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long term sales and earnings Other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications:

    • Current or very recent experience with Plastic Injection Molding

    • Previous experience in the Tool and Mold or Automotive industry is required

    • 5+ years as a sales professional with strong sales, business development, and technical skills

    • Team player and able to work across cross-functional teams while building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders in and outside of the organization Technical background and understanding of injection, compression, and other types of molds.

    • Exceptional verbal, written, and communication skills

    • Efficient organization and time management skills; able to balance several projects and clients at once in a fast-paced and busy environment

    • Independent and critical thinker; solution and results orientated

    • Ability to travel as required (domestic and international travel)

    • Relationships with OEM’s, Tier 1 Facilities, or other target industries
