    OPPORTUNITY: 

    A Federal agency in the Nashville, TN area is seeking a behavioral health consultant with an emphasis on staff training and training material development.  

    The candidate shall be knowledgeable of psychological, behavioral, and emotional struggles of patients and be able to also provide effective training to others in this area.  Services will be provided through video/online webinars and onsite training 50/50 percentage.  The physical location where 10 hours per week will be perform will be in Cherokee, NC.

    The candidate must have at least 3 years' experience with socio-cultural factors that affect the mental health of Native American populations and skills in the development of treatment planning that can ameliorate the problems.

    PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:

    ON-SITE LOCATION: 

    • Unity Healing Center 448 Sequoyah Trail Cherokee, NC 281719

    OFF-SITE LOCATIONS:

    • Catawba
    • Richmond
    • Mashpee
    • Lockport

    HOURS:

    20 hours per week or 3 days out of the normal work week. The facility is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM with the weekends off.

Completion in efficient and precise delivery | | | | 4. Self-care | | | | 5. Crisis Intervention, Suicidality, Self-Harm | | | | 6. Substance Abuse and Co-Occurring Disorders | | | | 7. Question Persuade Refer (QPR) https://qprinstitute.com/ | | | | REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE OF CANDIDATE: | | | | 1. Knowledge of substance abuse and co-occurring disorders | | | | 2. Knowledge and skills in the diagnosis and treatment of individuals, | | families and groups of people with acute and chronic mental health | | problems, substance use disorders, within the full life spectrum. | | | | 3. Knowledge of psychological disorders as defined by the Diagnostic and | | Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM 5). | | | | 4. Knowledge of the socio-cultural factors that affect the mental health | | of Native American populations and skills in the development of | | treatment planning that can ameliorate the problems. | | | | 5. Knowledge of accreditation standards, as well as Federal and State | | laws particularly in the area of confidentiality of records and | | protected health information. Compliance with professional regulations | | and with the professional Code of Ethics for the respective discipline. | | | | 6. Knowledge of the array of disciplines in the behavioral health field | | (e.g. LCSW, PHD, Substance Abuse Specialist, Residential Aids, etc.), in | | addition to integrated services within Primary Care settings to ensure | | services are tailored to meet individual practices. | | | | 7. Must provide a current licensed behavioral health provider; minimum | | Master's Level Therapist. | | | | CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: | | | | 1. Contractor must be licensed AT LEAST be a Licensed Clinical Social | | Worker (LCSW) in any state of the United States or its territories.  | | Ph.D candidates are also encouraged to apply. | | | | 2. Contractor must provide a resume and three (3) written reference | | letters addressing Contractor's competence and personal integrity. | | | | 3. Contractor must have a current and valid State Driver's License. | | | | 4.  Must provide summary of past training experience and example work | | products, e.g. Webinars, Training Plans, Lesson Plans, and other course | | materials. | | | | 5.
