    Position Overview:  We are seeking an experienced and dedicated NYS Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic and compassionate team at a nonprofit organization providing healthcare services to underserved communities in NYC.     Key Responsibilities:
    - Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and craft tailored treatment plans for patients dealing with mental health challenges.- Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to ensure holistic and effective care for each individual.- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, continuously monitoring patient progress to achieve optimal outcomes.- Provide ongoing therapy and support, fostering a safe and supportive environment for patients.- Lead community outreach initiatives, educating the public on mental health issues and breaking down barriers of stigma.- Maintain meticulous and compliant patient records that reflect our commitment to quality care.- Participate in team consultations and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.- Advocate passionately for the needs of your patients, connecting them with vital resources and support.
    Qualifications:

    Board eligible or certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with an active RN/PNP New York State license. An ideal candidate needs to be an NYS Medicaid provider.

    - In-depth knowledge of psychopharmacology and current best practices in therapeutic interventions.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued.- A strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice in all aspects of healthcare delivery.
