    Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN/PMHNP) to join our mental health practice. In this role, you will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to clients across the lifespan, with a strong focus on children and adolescents. You will work collaboratively with therapists and other providers to ensure integrated, patient-centered care, addressing conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and other behavioral health concerns.

    Responsibilities

    Conduct psychiatric assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.

    Develop and implement individualized medication management plans.

    Monitor treatment response, side effects, and adherence, making adjustments as needed.

    Educate patients and families on psychiatric medications, potential side effects, and treatment expectations.

    Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and school-based professionals when appropriate.

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.

    Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.

    Provide crisis intervention support as needed.

    Qualifications

    Active and unrestricted APRN or PMHNP license in the state of Connecticut.

    Experience working with children and adolescents in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting is required.

    Ability to practice independently (must not require MD collaboration in the state of Connecticut).

    Valid and current DEA registration.

    Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills.

    Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.

    Must agree to be 1099/Independent Contractor with a competitive percentage split compensation model.
