About the Role:

Align Integrated Care PLLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team in Sandston, VA. Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for new and existing patients

Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions across the lifespan

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans including psychopharmacology management

Provide medication management, including prescribing and adjusting psychiatric medications as clinically indicated

Collaborate with an integrated care team including therapists, physicians, and case managers

Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system

Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed

Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and wellness strategies

Requirements:

Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) board certification required

Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Virginia

Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a psychiatric/mental health specialty

Experience in psychiatric evaluation, psychopharmacology, and behavioral health treatment

DEA license and ability to prescribe controlled substances

Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach

Ability to work collaboratively within an integrated, multidisciplinary care team
