About the Role We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our established mental health practice. This contract role is ideal for a confident, independent prescriber with strong medication management skills and experience providing evidence-based psychiatric care.

Requirements (Experienced Prescribers Only)

Active Georgia Nurse Practitioner license in good standing

Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Active DEA registration

Minimum of 2+ years of psychiatric medication management experience

Experience treating children, adolescents, and adults preferred

Strong diagnostic, clinical judgment, and documentation skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating with the supervising physician and care team

Active professional malpractice insurance (required)

Compensation

$70 per hour for face-to-face patient time

Consistent weekday patient volume

Flexible weekday scheduling

No weekends and no on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits

Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications

Provide ongoing medication management

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based mental health care
