Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Outpatient)

The Position:
Our client is looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team. They are offering the following compensation and benefits:
- $53.00 - $66.25 Per Hour depending on experience

Requirements:
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Active Florida license
- Two years of experience working as a PMHNP preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Perform diagnostic assessments and evaluations as required
- Perform medication checks, evaluating the need for and appropriateness of medication, evaluating progress on medication, and assessing presence of side effects
- Complete documentation in a timely manner and include all pertinent information relating to clients and their care
- Provide adequate education to clients so they can provide fully informed consent for treatment
- Provide appropriate and adequate treatment to clients with the ideal result being remission of psychiatric symptoms
- Accomplish individual goals set forth in previous evaluation
- Adhere to legal requirements and be knowledgeable about agency and professional reporting, confidentiality, and code of ethics
- Additional responsibilities may be required
