Job Summary We are seeking a professional and caring Psych NP to join our team in a contract role! In this role, you will conduct psychological exams and testing, diagnose and treat psychological disorders, and assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors through the use of psychotherapeutic methods and medication. Responsibilities

Management of psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns and provide diagnoses across the life span (ages 4 and above)

Create individualized treatment plans for each client

Prescribe psychotherapeutic medication and adjust prescription according to patient’s response

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan, including all medication information

Consult with primary care physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care is provided

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest professional developments and research

Qualifications

NP from an accredited program

2+ years of experience

Current licensure as a PMHNP in Texas

Deep knowledge of various psychotherapeutic methods

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to explain complex medical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner

Excellent observational and assessment skills
