We have an exciting new opportunity for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work in our residential treatment center in Westchester County NY. Our organization has over 1,000 employees are we are developing many different avenues to affectively treat this mental health crisis. We have been successful in implementing new types of treatment programs and protocols that other organizations haven’t. Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Location: Upper Westchester County NY

Salary: $145,000 to $165,000 + full benefits included

Responsibilities:

Working alongside Psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse practitioner to treat patients in residential treatment center

Providing ongoing medication management and assessment

Performing psychiatric evaluations

Documenting notes in EMR system

Working with social workers to coordinate treatment for therapy

Following guidelines and procedures

Understanding patient’s medical and mental health records and designing treatment protocol appropriately

Requirements:

Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Graduate of accredited Masters Degree of Nursing Program

Active or in process New York State PMHNP license

Knowledge of documentation

Experience with adolescence a plus
