    Orange County Health Psychologists seek an experienced part time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our highly-regarded group practice of 70+ licensed behavioral health clinicians. We offer individual, couples, and family psychotherapy, testing and assessment, EMDR, VRT, yoga and somatic therapies, and ketamine assisted psychotherapy to a relatively high-functioning patient base. We seek a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is dedicated to the highest standards of care, employs a patient-centric and holistic approach to medicine, and works well within an existing group practice infrastructure. Candidate will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services both in person and via telehealth to children, adolescents, adults and older adults.

    Responsibilities and Duties The candidate we seek would:

    Provide direct in-office and telehealth comprehensive psychiatric care to patients one day a week or more;

    Conduct initial consultations and general psychiatric evaluations, diagnose patient conditions, and prepare treatment plans;

    Prescribe appropriate medications and conduct ongoing medication management and routine follow-up psychiatric services;

    Collaborate effectively with behavioral health group colleagues to optimize high quality care and treatment outcomes;

    Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with all regulatory standards.

    Qualifications and Skills

    Active PMHNP license and California furnishing number

    Current, unrestricted DEA license

    5+ years of clinical medical practice

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with superior interpersonal and leadership skills

    Superb judgment, problem solving, and cognitive skills

    Commitment to best practices and integrated, collaborative health care
