Seeking Experienced Ambitious Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for Private Practice

We are a small sized psychiatry practice in Carlsbad serving an array of privately insured patients from ages 13-65. We have congenial staff, average 14-18 scheduled patients daily, access to in-house psychiatrist and therapists, motivated staff & patients, $100-$115/hr during probation period, additional wage increase after probation period. 1099 employment, minimum 2 yrs psychiatric experience, minimum 8 hrs in-office weekly, additional day(s) offered after probation period.

Responsibilities

Provide out-patient psychiatric care for patients ages 13-65

Diagnosis and develop individualized treatment plans for all patients

Surmise complete and accurate daily documentation for patients

Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists and admin staff

Effectively communicate with patients and authorized family members

Qualifications

Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Minimum 2 years psychiatric experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in substance abuse therapy is desired
