About the Position:
A well-established public health organization in southeastern Michigan is seeking a Psychiatric Physician Assistant to join its Behavioral Health Urgent Care team in a full-time, night shift role. This is a unique opportunity to work within a high-impact, community-based setting focused on providing crisis intervention, assessment, and medication management for individuals facing serious and persistent mental illness and developmental disabilities.
Note: This position is exclusively for Certified Physician Assistants. Nurse Practitioners are not being considered.
The successful candidate will begin with comprehensive daytime training during standard programming hours and will transition to the permanent three 12-hour night shift schedule once the facility moves to its 24/7 operational model. Despite the shift structure, full-time employees will receive compensation for 40 hours per week.

Requirements:
Certified Physician Assistant
Minimum 3 years of experience as a PA
At least 3 years of clinical experience working with individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness and/or developmental disabilities
Proven experience in assessment, crisis management, and medication management in outpatient or inpatient behavioral health settings
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $113,064 – $151,752 annually
