Exciting New Program

We have an exciting new opportunity to work as Psychiatric Registered Nurse and treat patients throughout all walks of life. Our rapidly expanding community health based organization is forming a new program that specializes in treating patients suffering from various and more specific types of mental health illnesses. This would be a unique new role and not like anything you have probably done before. We are very excited to announce the new launch of this program to help the ongoing mental health crisis we have going on in New York City. This opportunity has flexible work hours from either 7am-3pm, am-5pm, or 1pm-9pm. This opportunity would also be an 1199 Union position with fantastic benefits included! Title: Psychiatric Registered Nurse

Location: Manhattan NY

Salary: $92,000 to $96,000 + full comprehensive benefits package

Responsibilities:

Handling assessments of patients for both medical and psychiatry

Referring patients to various other treatment facilities when necessary

Interpreting patient medical history and assisting with full treatment process

Implementing new and evolved plans of psychiatric care

Providing psychological support

Providing various degree of consultation in accordance with other team members

Documenting all notes in EMR system

Working with quality team to mitigate risk and health issues

Engaging with patients and assisting with mental health stabilization

Requirements:

Associates Degree of Nursing

We will see new graduate Registered Nurses

Preferred 1 year of Psychiatry experience

Strong interpersonal skills

BLS

New York State RN license

Knowledge of community health treatment
