Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) to support adults with serious mental illness in achieving greater independence, stability, and quality of life. The PRP will work collaboratively with individuals to develop skills related to daily living, employment, socialization, and community integration using recovery-oriented, person-centered practices.
Key Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric rehabilitation services in community-based and/or clinical settings
Assist individuals in developing and achieving individualized rehabilitation goals
Deliver skills training related to daily living, coping strategies, social skills, and vocational readiness
Collaborate with treatment teams, case managers, and external providers
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
Support individuals in crisis situations using de-escalation and recovery-focused interventions
Advocate for clients and promote self-determination and empowerment
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in a human services–related field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Human Services, or related discipline)
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certification preferred
Previous experience in psychiatric rehabilitation, community mental health, or recovery-oriented services
Familiarity with evidence-based practices and person-centered planning
