Position Overview
The PRP Counselor provides psychiatric rehabilitation services to clients with mental health diagnoses. Services focus on skill-building, community integration, treatment planning, and promoting independence and stability.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
1+ year experience in behavioral health (preferred)
Knowledge of PRP documentation requirements
Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
Ability to work independently in community settings
Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and develop Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRPs)
Provide community-based skill-building sessions
Maintain timely and compliant documentation
Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and case managers
Assist clients with employment, education, and daily living skills
Attend supervision and team meetings
