Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) Director
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) Director to lead the overall operations and management of our PRP services. This role is responsible for overseeing program staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting the mental health and wellbeing of the individuals we serve.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to effectively manage both administrative and clinical components of the program.
Salary
$45,500 – $62,500 annually
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations and overall management of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program.
Ensure the program’s mission, services, and goals are implemented effectively and efficiently.
Lead outreach efforts, including building referral relationships with providers and coordinating community events.
Maintain compliance with all applicable government regulations and accreditation standards.
Provide leadership, supervision, and ongoing support to program staff, including identifying training and professional development needs.
Conduct client intake assessments, Individualized Rehabilitation Plans (IRPs), and face-to-face screenings as needed.
Facilitate regular individual and group supervision sessions with direct care staff, addressing both clinical and administrative matters.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment goals.
Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant electronic documentation in accordance with agency policies.
Promote the mental health, recovery, and overall wellbeing of program participants.
Participate in on-call coverage and adjust scheduling to meet program needs, including evenings and weekends as required.
Qualifications
Required experience working within a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
Preferred licensure:
LMSW
LCSW-C
Certified Rehabilitation Specialist
CPRP (Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner) certification required within 6 months of hire
Demonstrated clinical experience working with adults with co-occurring disorders and complex behavioral health needs
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain professionalism, tact, and diplomacy in all interactions
Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice standards
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
Additional Requirements
On-call availability
Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
