    Psychiatrist  

    Join a non-profit health system in New England.  Dedicated Psychiatry institute supporting inpatient services and outpatient medical clinics in the region.  Group includes two tertiary-level teaching hospitals, an acute-care community teaching hospital, an acute-care hospital and trauma center, three community hospitals, a behavioral health network, and a multispecialty physician group. Level 1 Trauma.

    Career advancement opportunity practicing within a progressive physician-led environment. Perform diagnostic evaluations, ongoing psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy. Working within a multi-disciplinary treatment team and act as a clinical team leader for the coordination and supervision of care provided across clinical disciplines, including providing guidance and leadership to clinicians on the team in formulating and implementing the treatment plan.  Teaching opportunity to provide supervision to medical students, residents and non-physician health professionals. Act as liaison and communicate effectively with outside providers, primary care physicians, and family members. Call shared.

     Requirements:

    • BE/BC Psychiatry
    • Child & Adolescent and/or Adult Psychiatry 
    • CT license, or eligible
