Position Summary:
The Psychiatrist will support adult clients with mild to moderate mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medication regimens, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. This role offers flexibility through a hybrid model of remote and onsite work.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in alignment with current clinical standards.
Collaborate with therapists, care coordinators, and other health professionals for integrated care.
Apply measurement-based tools (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7) to track client progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
Ensure accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant documentation of all clinical interactions.
Required Qualifications:
MD or DO degree with board certification in Psychiatry.
Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Florida.
Minimum of two (2) years' experience providing psychiatric care to adult populations.
Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
Strong commitment to evidence-based treatment approaches and professional growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience delivering services through virtual care platforms.
Familiarity with measurement-based care practices.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
