Responsibilities: • Examine the patient's behavioral or emotional patterns in an effort to help them better understand or anticipate the patient's own conduct • Create and manage treatment plans and therapeutic procedures, as well as conduct frequent meetings or sessions to track client progress Psychological Assessment: • Conduct comprehensive intake interviews to determine medical necessity and appropriate testing batteries. • Administer, score, and interpret a wide range of psychological tests, including but not limited to: WAIS/WISC, NEPSY-II, D-KEFS, PAI, MMPI-3, and Autism measures (ADOS-2, Migdas). • Write high-quality, integrated psychological reports with actionable recommendations for schools and families. • Conduct feedback sessions with clients to explain results and treatment plans. Psychotherapy: • Maintain a caseload of individual therapy clients (children, adolescents, and/or adults). • Develop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based modalities (CBT, ACT, DBT, etc). • Utilize measurement-based care tools to track client progress and outcomes. • Collaborate with parents and schools for minor clients and providers, and families for adults. Administrative & Training: • Participate in weekly individual and group supervision for licensure (as required by the state board). • Participate in monthly didactic seminars and case consultation meetings. • Complete documentation and billing notes in the EMR. Qualifications: • Successful candidates will need strong analytical, communication, and observational skills • Must have a master’s degree and a Doctorate of Psychology (PhD, EdD, PsyD) • Education: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program. • Internship: Completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship is preferred. • Status: Must be eligible to register as a Psychology/Resident with the Florida Board of Psychology. Skills: • Some testing experience is required (specifically with ADHD and ASD differentials). • Excellent writing skills (sample redacted report may be requested). • Ability to work collaboratively in a private practice setting. Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly
