Job Summary
We are seeking a Psychotherapist to join our team! In this role, you manage a clinical caseload and provide individual, group, and/or family therapy services. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining timely documentation, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to support positive clinical outcomes. Responsibilities
Perform intakes and assessments
Create individualized treatment plans for each client
Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
Perform regular wellness checks
Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
Required Skills
Competency in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, MI, and client-centered approaches
Experience working with diverse populations, including adults, youth, and families
Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and ethical clinical practices
Proficiency in psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, and collaborative treatment planning
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Timely and accurate clinical documentation (within 24 hours of session)
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
Experience working with individuals impacted by mental health, trauma, or co-occurring disorders
Familiarity with evidence-based treatment practices and culturally competent care
Current and unrestricted clinical social worker license
Previous experience as a behavioral health therapist preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized
Requirements
LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or equivalent licensure in New York State
Must have or obtain Professional Liability Insurance prior to start date
Availability for two evening shifts and one weekend shift per week
Strong working knowledge of telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHRs)
