We’re Hiring: Licensed Psychologist or Master’s-Level Psychotherapist (Full-Time) Location: Denver, CO | In-Person & Telehealth
Kimel Psychological Services (KPS) is growing—and we’d love for you to grow with us! We are a small, woman- and minority-owned group practice in Denver, Colorado, known for our specialized and culturally sensitive care for children, teens, and young adults with developmental disabilities, ADHD, learning differences, giftedness, and co-occurring mood and anxiety disorders.
We are currently seeking a Licensed Master’s-Level Psychotherapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) who is passionate about therapy and assessment with neurodivergent populations. This full-time, W-2 position is designed to let you focus on what you do best—providing exceptional clinical care—without having to worry about billing, scheduling, or administrative hassles. If you’re eager to work in a collaborative, mission-driven practice, we’d love to hear from you.
Who We Are
At KPS, we believe in clinical excellence, genuine connection, and making high-quality services accessible. We specialize in serving clients ages 1 through 35 with a focus on developmental disabilities, learning differences, autism, ADHD, and gifted/twice-exceptional needs. We offer therapy and diagnostic evaluations, and we are committed to providing care that is evidence-based, compassionate, and inclusive.
We serve a diverse population, accepting Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance to remove barriers to care. We value clinicians from all backgrounds and strongly encourage BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and bilingual providers to apply.
What You’ll Do
As a therapist or psychologist at KPS, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Provide individual and/or family therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 2–30, depending on your expertise)
Use a flexible, client-centered approach integrating CBT, DBT, ACT, family systems, and related evidence-based modalities
Collaborate with schools, caregivers, and allied professionals to support clients holistically
Participate in weekly clinical consultation and monthly didactics with our team
Optionally co-lead a weekly social skills group or supervise graduate-level trainees
Engage in culturally responsive practice and community outreach to promote disability awareness
What We’re Looking For
Required:
Licensed to practice independently in Colorado (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD)
Master’s or Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or social work from an accredited program
Eligible for credentialing with Medicaid and Kaiser
Passion for working with neurodivergent clients and their families
Preferred:
Experience working with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, giftedness, and mood/anxiety disorders
Skilled in systemic individual and family work and interventions across developmental levels, with a preference in using empirically supported methods like CBT, DBT, ACT, and family systems work.
Bilingual (Spanish) clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply
Comfortable using EMRs and maintaining timely documentation
Commitment to multicultural competence and lifelong learning
Team-oriented, reflective, and flexible with a good sense of humor
