About the Role: A Fresh Start Cleaning is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Janitorial team member to join our crew in San Jose, CA! Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors

Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas

Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed

Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures

Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper

Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed thoroughly

Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues or supply needs

Requirements:

Prior janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Valid driver's license or reliable transportation a plus

Must be able to pass a background check
