The Embassy Suites by Hilton Colorado Springs is hiring a Part-Time Public Area Attendant/Groundskeeper. The Public Area Attendant maintains the cleanliness, sanitation, and welcoming appearance of all guest-accessible areas, including lobbies, public restrooms, hallways, elevators, and fitness centers. Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, polishing fixtures, restocking supplies, emptying trash, and responding to guest requests promptly. Responsibilities: • Cleaning & Sanitizing: Deep clean high-traffic areas such as the lobby, public restrooms, elevators, and fitness centers (e.g., wiping fixtures, disinfecting surfaces, and cleaning mirrors). • Maintenance & Appearance: Vacuum carpets, mop floors, polish metal surfaces, and ensure the entrance is free of debris. • Restocking: Frequently replenish supplies in public restrooms (soap, paper towels, toilet paper) and ensure lobby amenities (e.g., newspapers, coffee) are available. • Trash Removal: Empty trash cans in all public areas and transport to the designated disposal area. • Guest Service: Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a polite, professional manner while moving throughout the hotel. • Operational Support: Report maintenance issues (e.g., broken lights, damaged furniture) and assist with deep cleaning or housekeeping tasks in other areas as requested. • Additional duties for outside grounds cleaning and maintenance Qualifications: • Physical Stamina: Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift or move objects up to 50 lbs (e.g., vacuums, furniture) for long periods. • Detail-Oriented: A strong eye for spotting dust, spots, or messes in public view. • Flexibility: Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evening/morning shifts. • Professionalism: A professional appearance and proactive, service-oriented attitude. • Previous Experience: Previous cleaning experience in a hospitality or commercial setting is often preferred. Compensation: $15.16 - $15.60 hourly
