  • Responsibilities

    The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all hotel public spaces to ensure a welcoming and sanitary environment for guests and staff. Duties include cleaning restrooms, lobby areas, hallways, poolside, and outdoor spaces such as the parking lot. This position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and direct sunlight. The attendant ensures all assigned areas are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and well-stocked while following safety guidelines and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Responsibilities: • Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, stairwells, and outdoor spaces. • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation are consistently met throughout the property. • Replenish supplies such as towels, toiletries, and hand soap in public restrooms. • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas regularly. • Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal. • Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain a friendly, helpful attitude. • Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department. • Follow all health and safety protocols and hotel procedures. Qualifications: • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus. • Ability to work independently and stay motivated with minimal supervision. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. • Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. • Good communication and customer service skills. • Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays. Compensation: $14 - $16 hourly
