    DUTIES:

    • Build overall strategy across PR and Influencer space that will position Public Goods as a buzz-worthy brand
    • Establish and nurture relationships with publications, websites, reviewers, influencers, affiliates, and other media partners.
    • Build brand awareness and generate excitement around shopping through strategic and proactive consumer PR programs and strategic community engagement communications.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify key trends (industry/broad consumer marketplace) and opportunities to advance Public Goods business priorities.
    • Align PR strategies with business milestones and work in close partnership with internal stakeholders across marketing, sales, and product to ensure timelines, budgets, and deliverables meet the needs of the business.
    • Manage affiliate marketing programs
    • Build PR team, recruit and manage one junior PR

    THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Self-starter with 6-8 yrs minimum experience at a PR agency. Experience with DTC/eCommerce is a plus.
    • Knowledge of and experience working with diverse and multicultural audiences
    • Excellent writing abilities
    • Strong manager and team player who can work well with others
    • Understand how to use data to power content and PR success
    • Have a track record of selecting and managing relevant vendors and partners
    • Bachelors degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field
