Registered Nurse to support baby care client case management and home visiting services for infants, pregnant mothers, and infant caregivers in need of assistance. This public health program supports the prevention of infant mortality, and maternal mortality as well as improve health outcomes for mother-infant dyads while reducing the socio-economic burden for the community. Assessments encompass a range of physical and mental health indicators for both the mother and the infant, with a focus on the interconnectedness of their well-being. Interventions aimed at improving outcomes often involve coordinated care approaches, such as co-located or co-timed maternal-newborn visits, and addressing factors such as infant/child growth and development, breastfeeding duration, substance exposure, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
