OH Montoya CPAs is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. This role involves preparing and reviewing a variety of tax returns and financial documents while supporting day-to-day accounting functions for both individual and business clients. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and comfortable working directly with clients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual, business, payroll, and sales tax returns
• • Perform bookkeeping and general accounting tasks
• Maintain and update financial records accurately and efficiently
• Work with accounting and tax software including:
  • QuickBooks
  • Accounting CS
  • ProSeries
  • Sage
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
• Communicate directly with clients regarding accounting and tax matters
• Answer telephone calls and assist clients as needed
• Participate in ongoing accounting and tax training
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all deliverables

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field (with accounting concentration preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax preparation
• Experience with QuickBooks, Accounting CS, ProSeries, Sage, Excel, and Word
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Bilingual (preferred but not required)
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
