    Job Description

    The Systems & Process Improvement Manager will work with various business units and stakeholders across the company to identify areas where performance or processes can be improved, and help develop strategies to enhance productivity and access to accurate and timely data. 

    Our ideal candidate will have great interpersonal and communication skills, an aptitude for analyzing data, and strong business acumen. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Meet with key stakeholders to determine and articulate goals, gathering and analyzing data and process mapping, and creating reports based around recommendations.
    • Serve as an operational subject matter expert on Public Storage’s Real Estate, Facilities, and Construction Management software platforms.
    • Facilitate between Public Storage’s lines of business and the technology that supports their business processes.
    • Assist in the creation of project definitions and chartering 
    • Perform project management, create analytics, and measure initiative results to ensure milestones are met and deliverables are achieved 
    • Capture detailed business process workflows and connect them to create a holistic picture of the business 
    • Help identify efficiencies and communicate these opportunities to the team 
    • Perform cost/benefit analysis for proposed process/platform enhancements
    • Effectively identify business requirements from variety of users to help meet their strategy & goals 
    • Identify and manage resources to deliver effective solutions
    • Subject matter expert and administrator for Information Management, Project Management and Communications platforms
    • Communicate complex data and business cases in ways that are compelling and easy to understand
    • Determine, implement and evaluate business metrics that benefit and support objectives
    • Make recommendations for product or service enhancements
    • Perform operational management of key platforms, including risk management, process improvement, planning and roadmap development, contingency planning, integration with other platforms and change management
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g. Business, Finance, Engineering)
    • 5+ years of relevant experience working in Real Estate, Construction or Facilities Management, including analysis, process improvement, software implementation, and team leadership
    • Demonstrated experience in successful process improvement initiatives and effective change management examples 
    • Lean/Six Sigma Blackbelt, or equivalent training/certification, preferred
    • PMI-PMP certification is desired
