    Qualifications

The SVP, Talent Experience will be a broad-based businessperson with strategic insight and an entrepreneurial bend. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 20+ years of broad Human Resources generalist or talent management work.  Time in a nimble, fast-growing company or within a business undergoing substantial changes required, preferably within the broader services arena. Experience leading large, matrixed teams across multiple divisions, brands or countries.

Ideally, we seek a talent leader who has scaled a similar professional services business. While we would expect this key hire brings a relevant track record and can leverage a set of best practices that they have previously implemented, they should not be overly prescriptive or rely solely on a playbook. While this individual will have the opportunity to impact the organization’s vision and strategy, there are nuances to the organization and its member agencies which need to be appreciated

In summary, we seek a contemporary, forward-thinking people and talent leader with demonstrated experience helping successful organizations, ideally professional services firms, from good to great and facilitating growth through people.

Specific experiences and desired skills will include:

    ·       Proven expertise across the talent agenda, including engagement, talent development, capability building, employer branding, organizational effectiveness and talent analytics.

    ·       Ability to provide vision and lead with an eye to the future, ensuring best-in-class talent processes and employee experience

    ·       Experience stepping into a leadership role at a critical point in the growth curve of a business and facilitating its next levels of growth and prosperity; demonstrated ability to develop relationships with senior executives; client focused, visible, and accessible, leads from the front.

    ·       Strong team builder and inspirational leader able to engage and lead teams to high levels of performance; gains and develops trust at various levels of the organization and acts as a role model of company’s culture and core values; takes charge.

    ·       Results driven, overcomes obstacles, demonstrates strong execution skills on complex initiatives; performance oriented, drives continuous improvement for team and community.

    ·       Resourceful and takes initiative, determined about finding ways over, around or through barriers to success, achievement oriented, goes beyond the call of duty and show bias for action, a “doer.”
