    Job Description

    CONILL HAS A TEMPORARY FREELANCE (APPROXIMATELY 4-5 MONTHS) OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED CREATIVE SERVICES MANAGER.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Creative Services Manager (CSM) supports the VP, Executive Creative Director as the internal Creative Business Manager in overseeing and managing operations of the different creative departments within Conill.  The CSM acts as a liaison between the offices of the region and works collaboratively with their Group Creative Directors to help manage assignments, timely submissions of awards shows and festivals submissions, potential tools acquisitions and trainings.  Resolves functional issues through consultation with regional function heads.  Supports in the planning of the creative meetings. Coordinates with media and creative magazines press releases, interviews and other press inquiries. The CSM embraces the Conill spirit of One Team, One Dream, Nothing is Impossible. Bilingual Spanish/English is required.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manages creative workflow and assign campaigns along with the CDs to facilitate creative resources.
    • Assigns resources to no-campaign and last minute request. 
    • Attends weekly brand status meetings to analyze the upcoming projects with PM/Accounts/CDs to gather information to ensure creative resources are effectively aligned to projects.
    • Provides suggestions and initiates process improvements to optimize creative team allocations and resourcing.
    • Keeps track of campaigns through the entire lifecycle: planning, resourcing, concepting, production and delivery.
    • Acts as liaison between Creative, Production, and Account departments to adjust projects and due dates as needed.
    • Coordinates agency new business projects and case studies.
    • Responsible for the work order internal review and approval.
    • Responsible for freelance requests and recruitment.
    • Coordinates freelance and fulltime offer letters, paperwork, equipment, software/e-mail/teams set up, timesheets, etc.
    • Manages  freelance budgets.
    • Manages creative time off requests
    • Responsible for recruitment of full-time open positions within the creative department and develops a library of creative resources
    • Provides support and training to Creative full-time and freelance relating procedures, teams, e-mail, timesheet processing, and expense processing
    • Works with IT to ensure software, hardware requests are completed and manages organization of server and cloud-based storage
    • Prepares and submits materials for all creative contest submissions, maintaining all creative contents entries and awards list with Creative Coordinator(s)
    • Initiates vendor paperwork.
    • Assists CCD to manage his agenda.
    • Additional ad hoc requests by creative department as needed
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • A demonstrated track record in managing Creative teams and resources
    • At least 6-8 years of experience in an agency environment
    • A great sense of how to manage and motivate different individuals
    • Creative staffing/recruiting experience.
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage resources effectively
    • Bilingual Spanish/English is required.
