    Job Description

    As Talent Operations Manager, you’ll support a business-critical discipline at PXP that drives a cultural shift towards people accountability when it comes to mobility and hiring. Reporting into the Director, Talent Operations, you’ll serve as core member of the Talent team. 

    Talent Operations sits at the heart of production where several key functions intersect. We provide a support to the talent team for PXP and Harbor Picture Company as it relates to business needs and operational demands. Additionally, we work across all disciplines to understand the talent needs of the departments to help facilitate and anticipate resources.  

    This capability is built on understanding data and relationships, which includes talent allocations, utilization and billability. Our day-to-day duties are generated by the fluctuation of workflow and revenue, which will surface through engagements with client teams, employees, managers, and team leadership or through review and analysis of key financial and operational reporting.

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Operations Focused:  

    • Lead resource management processes, including freelance and advise on resource allocation decisions.  

    • Manage freelance vendors, resources, and forecasting in partnership with the Talent Management Team 

    • Keep current on Groupe U.S. and external resource management best practices and introduce to Agency. 

    • Sustain change through persistent and consistent resourcing communication and messaging with agency(s) messaging 

    • Seek and identify opportunities to use technology to continually streamline + automate systems processes, data mining and reporting

     

    Solution Oriented & Analytical:  

    • Lead reporting used for resource allocation and costing decisions 

    • Manage to existing staff plans and address incremental needs 

    • Identify, communicate, and resolve resource allocation issues 

    • Analytical and insightful – asks the right questions; Provide guidance on the importance of details and accurate data. 

    • Ensure resources (full-time and freelance) are properly allocated and utilized against prioritized projects/clients and identify red flags to proactively head-off and resolve any conflict or roadblocks.

     

    Collaboratively Minded: 

    • Partner with Talent Management, Acquisition and Finance on hiring compensation, talent management and mobility. 

    • Identify opportunities to bridge connectivity across Publicis network. 

    • Partner with Business and Client leadership to identify areas of Business and Client growth and the Talent needed to support growth 

    • Establish and maintain one on one connections with leads to discuss the health of accounts and team members 

    • Collaborate with Business and Client Leads to create transparency around team metrics (e.g., forecasted capacity reporting; utilization vs. realization; billability & skills need analysis; future staffing trends.

     

    Talent Driven: 

    • Drive diversity of Talent into client and project teams – ensure casted Talent represents a diverse set of backgrounds, skillsets and expertise. 

    • Partnership with Talent Acquisition and Management to identify talent and skill gaps, prioritize open positions and gain internal financial approvals needed to begin the external hiring process.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in Recruiting or Human Resources 

    • Agency experience preferred, a bonus if from a creative and/or production environment 

    • Process oriented 

    • An understanding of the recruiting lifecycle and process 

    • Incredibly detail oriented and skilled in systematic thinking  

    • Must contribute to and thrive in high energy, high profile, positive, proactive, deadline driven, results oriented, dynamic, and attention to detail environment 

    • Exceptional planning, coordination, management, and communication skills are required 

    • Respect for maintaining a high level of confidentiality 

    • A passion for learning and natural curiosity for finding creative solutions and ways to tweak and improve processes
