    Job Description

    CONTENT STRATEGY 

    The Content & Social Strategy intern (that’s you!) is someone who will learn and be able to leverage their understanding of content marketing and social media platforms such as Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, etc. You’ll learn to communicate through a brand filter, and how to apply content and resources to help foster dialogue within the online community, maximize social media engagement, and quickly resolve any issues should they arise. 

    YOU MUST BE EXTREMELY INTERESTED IN LEARNING ABOUT CONTENT MARKETING, SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY, AND CONVERSATIONAL MARKETING.

    WHAT DOES THE POSITION ENTAIL?

    As the intern on the content strategy team, you will assist the team in developing cross-channel strategies, uncovering actionable insights that drive content development, and managing brand presence on client-owned social platforms:

    • Support the larger strategic team in the development and execution of multi-platform content strategies, editorial calendars, and tactical plans
    • Conduct audience research using listening platforms, uncovering actionable insights, and ultimately brief team members on findings
    • Facilitate content creation – brief/timeline development, creative support, production oversight, etc.
    • Ongoing reporting on platform activity – weekly status updates, issue elevation, identification of key opportunities
    • Foster dialogue within social communities by answering questions posed, representing the brand in a friendly, knowledgeable manner
    • Identify Influencers on an ongoing basis, provide partnership recommendations, and secure permission for third-party content where required
    • Resolve/elevate issues when they arise within social communities
    • Identify opportunities to create unique content, promotions, and messages within each community
    • Keep the agency current on the latest advancements across the social space, via an agency newsletter and posts for the agency blog.
    • Help shape the agency narrative across agency social channels.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    INTERN REQUIREMENTS 

    • Full-time rising junior or rising senior, currently enrolled at an accredited 4-year College or University 
    • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program which aligns with the position such as Advertising, Marketing or Communications
    • Legally authorized to work in the US
