    Job Description

    The SEO ACCOUNT ASSOCIATE is the key support resource for the SEO team. The associate assists the Account Manager with workflow, deliverable QA, and internal communication. The goals for the role are to learn and apply basic media principles and execute and manage client’s SEO campaigns.

     

    Key Responsibilities

     

    KNOWLEDGE

     

    ·       Knows how the agency works and how accounts are obtained and flow through the agency

    ·       Working knowledge of basic computer programs including PowerPoint, Word, Excel

    ·       Familiar with digital marketing strategy and various tactics

    ·       Basic understanding of high level concepts of search marketing, specifically SEO 

     

    INTERNAL RESPONSIBILITIES: OPERATIONS, TACTICS AND STRATEGY

     

    ·       Coordination with SEO manager to understand clients’ SEO goals and expected deliverables

    ·       Maintain overall account progress and status documentation and communication

    ·       Understand objectives and expectations of clients in order to execute SEO related tasks as directed by managers

    ·       Learns and utilizes SEO monitoring and auditing tools effectively in order to report on performance and assist in providing insights

    ·       Provides support for major SEO recommendations

    ·       Lead data collection to assist in reporting analysis, creation and delivery 

    ·       Helps support established strategy for department and brand teams

    ·       Expected to learn what drives strategic decisions and the thought process involved

    ·       Works with other media discipline teams to understand potential benefits of collaboration

    ·       Supports SEO manager as needed with day to day assignments and responsibilities

    ·       Diligently and flawlessly executes on assigned area of project

     

    EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    ·       Have a working knowledge of who all clients and partners are, what their brand details entail, as well as the brand category in the marketplace

    ·       Detailed, professional and timely communications to client and partner teams

    ·       Ability to clearly communicate both orally in person as well as on the phone, and in writing

    ·       Solid listening skills and takes notes during meetings, disseminates notes & follow-up as appropriate

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ·       Adherence to agency procedures (on-time and accurate timesheets, roles and responsibilities, performance reports)

    ·       Proficiency in computer skills used to manage day-to-day workflow (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)

    ·       Ability to work in a matrix (multi-supervisory) environment

    ·       Ability to multi-task, manage one’s time, and demonstrate personal organization and ability to meet deadlines (strong work ethic)

    ·       Ability to take initial direction, then transition to a more independent work style accompanied by upper level oversight

    ·       Exhibits Integrity and Trust

    ·       Exhibits Self Development

    ·       Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Minimal, if any, industry knowledge is expected
